Every city runs VLESS over Reality. On a filtered network it looks like ordinary HTTPS.
Three things Airtel users believe
First, that a VPN on Airtel needs special settings. It does not. Second, that the right settings give free internet. They did, briefly, years ago, and every such loophole since then has been closed within weeks. Third, that a VPN is a VPN. On Airtel the protocol matters, because traffic that looks like a classic VPN is the first to be slowed at busy hours. A VPN for Airtel should therefore need no settings, promise no free data and look like ordinary secure browsing. That describes a VLESS key over Reality.
The settings file treadmill
You know the searches. Some name a tunnel app: x VPN settings for Airtel, or psiphon VPN settings for Airtel. Some are older than the 5G rollout: a droid VPN setting for Airtel, or tls tunnel VPN settings for Airtel. The most persistent are eut VPN settings for Airtel and anonytun VPN settings for Airtel India. Each of them leads to a file with a host and a payload that somebody tested last week. Some work for a few days. Many of the downloads include an extra app you did not ask for. The guides titled setting of psiphon pro VPN for Airtel are the same thing in video form. A key steps off that treadmill. It has no host field and no payload, and nothing in it expires before your term does.
Tonight, in four taps
What stays the same on Airtel
- ✓Your data pack and your daily limit. The VPN uses data and does not create it.
- ✓Your signal. Weak bars mean a slow tunnel.
- ✓Your 5G Plus icon. The key works the same on 4G and on 5G.
- ✓Your bill. The key is separate from Airtel, and nothing about it appears there.
- ✓The Airtel Thanks app may dislike a foreign address. Exclude it in the client.
When something goes wrong
- ✓It connects but pages hang: set the date and time to automatic.
- ✓It drops when the screen is off: remove the battery restrictions for the client.
- ✓Evenings are slow: switch between Dubai and Singapore once.
- ✓Hotspot guests are not covered: each device needs its own client. One key fits five.
- ✓On Xstream fibre: install the client on the phone or the laptop. A router is optional.
A word on Kashmir
Subscribers in J&K ask which VPN is working in Kashmir for Airtel more often than anything else. The key and the setup are identical there. What differs is how hard the network is being filtered that month. Install it, test it and save the key offline while everything is open. Our Kashmir page covers the rest.

When the night ends, nothing stays behind
No account, so nothing for a log to point at, and no email, number or name on file. Our cities sit outside India, which keeps us outside the CERT-In retention rules. We would rather name that reason than pretend no law reaches us.
- Lights off, nothing kept
- No email, phone number or account
- No history of what you watched or opened
- Cities outside India, so its retention rules do not apply
- UPI or crypto, no stored card details

Questions from the queue
I have an EUT file that still works on Airtel. Why switch?
Because it will stop, usually without warning, and the next file comes from a stranger. A key has nothing in it that Airtel can patch out.
Is there any way to get free data on Airtel with a VPN?
None that survives. A tunnel moves your data privately. It does not pay for it.
Could Airtel suspend my SIM over VPN use?
There is no basis for that. VPN use is lawful in India, and operators carry VPN traffic for companies all day.
4G, 5G Plus, Xstream: any difference?
Not for the key. Faster access simply means a faster tunnel.
Dubai or Singapore on Airtel?
Try both one evening. Users in the north and west tend to keep Dubai, and the rest keep Singapore.
It was quick at lunch and slow at night. Is the VPN broken?
More likely the tower is crowded. Swap to the other nearby city before changing anything else.
Up late with a question?
Ask in the Telegram bot, nights included; the same chat holds your key. The setup steps name the client to install.
