Quick tricks, ranked by how long they last

  • Changing DNS: minutes of effort, and it works only on the oldest kind of block.
  • A website unblock proxy page: it opens plain articles, breaks logins and video, and reads everything you type.
  • Unblock website browser apps: they are usually the same proxy inside an app, with adverts added.
  • Mirror links from a group: they are gone in days, and sometimes they are fake.
  • A VPN key: it does not depend on any list, so there is nothing to expire.

Why the last one lasts

Filters work from lists of domains and known proxy addresses. A site for open blocked sites that becomes popular lands on the list within a week. A tunnel is a different kind of thing. Your operator or your Wi-Fi sees one encrypted connection that looks like ordinary HTTPS, and it has nothing to match against. Website unblocker online tools keep dying, and a key keeps working, for that one reason.

Do it properly

  1. 1Take the five free days from @notchless_bot. No card is asked for.
  2. 2Put the key into a free client on your phone or laptop.
  3. 3Connect to Dubai or Singapore.
  4. 4Open the site. If it is locked to a region, pick the city in that region.

In Chrome, and outside it

Two questions reach us constantly: how to unblock website on Chrome, and how do i unblock a website on Chrome at work. An extension is the quick answer, with a price attached. It lives inside one browser and gets permission to see each page you load. The slower answer is a client installed on the computer. Chrome obeys it automatically, nothing gets to look at your tabs, and the rest of the machine can be covered too. At work, your company's policy has a say as well. Phones are simpler: the client wraps the whole device, and on a phone the thing being blocked is usually an app anyway.

Lines we do not cross

  • ✓Piracy and betting sites blocked by court order are not what the key is for.
  • ✓A VPN is legal in India. Network policies at a college or an office still bind you.
  • ✓Never log in through a proxy page.
  • ✓Be wary of unblock website online services that ask you to install something.
  • ✓If a guide tells you to disable a security setting, close it.

After closing

When the night ends, nothing stays behind

No account, so nothing for a log to point at, and no email, number or name on file. Our cities sit outside India, which keeps us outside the CERT-In retention rules. We would rather name that reason than pretend no law reaches us.

  • Lights off, nothing kept
  • No email, phone number or account
  • No history of what you watched or opened
  • Cities outside India, so its retention rules do not apply
  • UPI or crypto, no stored card details
  • No renewals, no silent charges

Questions from the queue

A VPN key in an open source client. It does not rely on lists that get blocked.

Do proxy pages work?

For simple public pages, for a while. They are not safe for logins.

Using a VPN is legal. Sites blocked for piracy or betting are outside what we support.

Why does a site open on Airtel and not on Jio?

Operators apply blocking orders at different times and in different ways.

Usually. The filter sees a normal secure connection.

Yes. One key covers five devices.

Up late with a question?
